Bundling and Consumer Churn in Telecommunications Markets

Abstract In this paper, we analyze how fixed-mobile (quadruple-play) bundling impacts the decision of consumers to churn telecommunications services. We use a database from an European operator fixed and mobile services which includes information about 9.6 million broadband subscribers 14.2 between March 2014 February 2015. These data is combined with socio-demographic characteristics each municipality in country. find that who bundle same provider are less likely churn. Without annual would increase 8.4 9.2%. Furthermore, consumer market 11.5 13.1%. conclude current competitive environment country considered, has moderate impact on retention both networks.
